The Millennium School provides a solid academic foundation and rich extra-curricular programme that includes four core principles. These principles, World Citizenship, Universal Values, Leadership Qualities and Forward Thinking are a part of the planned curriculum of The Millennium School and are woven throughout the fabric of school life.
World Citizenship
Students learn about the world and the people in it from an early age, developing an awareness of different cultures and countries. By exploring the world they become socially, culturally, economically and environmentally aware and learn about their responsibilities as world citizens. They learn to adopt a global perspective and understand how they make a difference in the global community.
Universal Values
Students develop values, principles and ethics that are respected, admired and accepted in all cultures around the world. They imbibe healthy social attitudes and a spirit of humanity, providing them with the ethical foundation and solid social skills to guide them through life. A variety of activities and experiences based on the understanding of universal values enable students to make positive contributions to other individuals, their school and to society.
Leadership Qualities
From an early age, students are encouraged to explore and question, seek solutions, make decisions and solve problems. They learn to demonstrate tenacity and to express themselves confidently. We aim at developing students’ unique individual potential for leadership, guiding them to discover and excel in their own special area of strength.
Forward Thinking
ICT [Information and Communication Technology] is an integral part of the curriculum and students use ICT as a tool for enhancing learning and communication. At Senior Secondary level the school offers Computer Science and Informatics Practices as optional subjects with a comprehensive syllabus.
