Official Visits to the School

Prof. Bandari’s visit

On 5th May 2009, the senior students of the Millennium school were privileged to be addressed by Mr. Narendra Bhandari, a senior scientist at the Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad. He shared his views on  aerospace science with our students. He also gave them an insight into India’s moon mission, Chandrayaan-I.

This was followed by an interactive session, wherein he answered  queries raised

by students. The IT presentation relating to the making and functioning of Chandrayaan-I was incredible. Prof. Bandari was a great source of inspiration for all our students and made them realize the importance of pursuing a dream with a strong will power and the fortitude to achieve it.

Prof. Bill Lucas visit

Prof. Bill Lucas visited the school on 5th May ,accompanied by Corporate Officials . They took a tour of the school and were amazed to see the tremendous progress . In the evening, Prof. Bill gave a talk on ‘Help Your Child to Succeed’, which was attended by principals of The Westminster School, The Millennium School,                Mr. Mukund Patil and other dignitaries from the corporate office. Parents from Sheffield, TWS and TMS also attended the talk.

Mr. Ralph Tabberer

Mr. Ralph Tabberer, Chief Schools Officer-GEMS, Dr. Farooq Wasil - Director of Asian Schools, Ms Naomi Scullian, Legal Manager, GEMS visited the school on 6th May. They took a tour of the school, observed a few classroom teachings, met the senior management team and interacted with pupil leaders.
