A Talk on Islam

The Millennium School has always taken extra efforts to ensure there is a blend of cultures and religions among its staff and student community. Islam, as a religion is highly regarded in our school and steps are taken to develop respect and regard  for it among our students.  A  talk on Islam was organized in our school  during the last week of October, where Islamic Scholar Mr. Mohammed Al Qubaisi from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs was invited to give our students a deeper insight into the values and principles of Islam and how Islam has always believed in reaching out to others .

Students were made aware of the social obligations they have towards other sections of society and how religion could help them understand and practice care and concern for others  through their thoughts and deeds. Our students were very interested and answered a series of questions put across to them by         Mr. Mohammed Al Qubaisi. Mr. Mohammed Nazeif, Head of the Arabic Department helped organize this event with a view to develop and maintain respect and regard for the Islamic faith which is the religion of the land.

Religious tolerance has been the key to understanding global citizenship in a better way and we at the Millennium School will always take the necessary steps to ensure this is a reality at every given point of time.
